I went to both the restaurant and the bar, and enjoyed them. I’d go again sometime. I might rent a hotel room too, if my parents were still alive to enjoy it.

Highly recommended! The room was spacious and cozy, the staff were incredibly friendly, and breakfast was delicious. It’s a wonderful place to stay and really experience Karuizawa.

I stayed at Auberge two months ago, and it was such a great place. The cottages felt cozy, with a lively but rustic atmosphere. The room was beautifully designed, and the bathroom felt even more luxurious. I still remember the welcome walnuts and traditional nutcracker. Breakfast wasn’t an enormous spread, but there was a good selection and enough to fill you up. They’re also dog friendly and really know how to make guests with dogs feel prepared for their stay. I’d definitely return to Auberge de Primavera on another visit to Karuizawa.

We had a birthday lunch with a course menu at this lovely, cozy French restaurant. It’s near ginza street, a lively shopping area. The staff were knowledgeable and explained the dishes well. I’d recommend it if you’re after French food.
