Getting around was very convenient because the hotel is close to the main attractions and public transport. The room and common areas were also spotless and well looked after. I wasn’t given much information or help at check-in, though, so arriving felt less smooth than I expected. And having no elevator made carrying luggage up the stairs inconvenient. The location and cleanliness are strong points, but a more helpful check-in and an elevator would make the stay better.

The cafe was a lovely quiet spot to sit and have a good conversation. The hotel itself is small and close to many of Karuizawa's attractions.

The staff were friendly, and the hotel was quiet. Our room was spacious and clean, with a kitchenette.

Breakfast was quite nice, and the room had plenty of space. The staff were friendly too.
