We accidentally left a bag in the lockers when checking out, then got on a train to Tokyo. The hotel staff kindly helped ship it to our Tokyo hotel, with no hassle. We really appreciated their help and had a great stay. Highly recommend.

The rooms are bigger than average and comfortable, and the staff were helpful. It’s a good spot between the station and the old town centre, both easy to reach on foot. There’s also a bus stop less than 200 metres away, with buses to different points of interest.

Kind, thoughtful staff made the service great. The hotel is close to a shopping center and Snow park, and it was quite affordable despite those advantages.

It’s a short walk from the station, and the hotel has a lovely old school feel. Everything was clean and well looked after. The manager was very helpful and spoke fluent English. Amazing value.

The room was roomy, with plenty of space for luggage and to move around. The hotel seems old, but it’s clean and well maintained. There’s a coffee machine, tea bags and a refillable water machine, and the staff were helpful and polite. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the ski slope if you want to ski or snowboard. The surroundings are nice, and the station isn’t too far. An amazing experience at hotel karuizawa elegance!
