Really nice place, with all kinds of rooms for solo guests or families. The soba is delicious. I recommend it.

The venue was remarkably clean and well looked after, with thoughtful decorative details everywhere. The team served us with real care, and the price was very reasonable. We held an intimate overseas wedding lunch here with close friends and family, and it became a lifelong memory. We’d reserved the classy restaurant months ahead, and the contact person was friendly and quick to respond. They made a special menu using excellent local ingredients, and we also chose the free-flow wine option. I’ll come back to Karuizawa and stay overnight too. Thanks for such a happy experience. 😊

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was a highlight. It’s a lovely local hotel with free parking outside, a nice mix of Japanese and Western rooms, and an ofuro Onsen. Highly recommend.

One night here felt like a proper holiday. The service is top notch, and the menu is excellent, with almost everything sourced locally. It’s an amazing guesthouse/hostel with pretty much everything you could want or need in Karuizawa.

The hotel restaurant is a delicious stop, just one from Karuizawa station.
