NIKKOEN

I'm writing because I see problems with how this operation is run. There seem to be many complaints from nearby public facilities and public-interest organizations. As described on the website, it's fine to offer group plans and handle reservations for public facilities on the groups' behalf. But when trouble or other problems come up during group use, the policy seems to be to leave it entirely to the group. Student-run groups are a particular concern, especially sports clubs from Kobe University. I've personally seen incidents several times, and the public facility managers are understandably very inconvenienced. These include eating or drinking inside gyms or on stages, where it's generally prohibited outside designated areas; throwing empty plastic bottles at walls or kicking them; leaving disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste scattered around wash areas; and failing to clean the floor at all after use.
