For what you pay, it’s a great deal. The room is small, but there’s enough space underneath the bed to slide bags and other things out of the way. Getting around was convenient: the Tokyo Monorail and Haneda Airport are easy to reach, and the Rinkai Line gives you a route to Disney, which is why we stayed here. There’s also a free shuttle bus to Shinagawa Station. The free buffet breakfast had a decent variety, and you can even take it away in boxes.

We needed a place close to a train station for the morning after our flight from LA, so we stayed for one night. Walking there took an easy 20 minutes, though we enjoy walking and travel light. The hotel also provides a free shuttle to Shinagawa station. The room was bigger than what we’re used to in Japan and had a TV, blow dryer, and kettle. Everything was very clean, and I appreciated the free toiletries like face wash, toothbrushes, and razors. Breakfast was included from 6:30 to 9:30 and was really good. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The area was nice, with several restaurants within a two-minute walk, including a 711 and FamilyMart. I’d stay here again.

Tennozu Isle feels like its own little world, clean and modern, with lots of food nearby and not too far from the train station. We stayed for an event near Tokyo Big Sight and found the area really interesting. The hotel staff were all very nice and accommodating. The room was a small, cozy Japanese business hotel room. There’s also a self-service locker area where you can leave your bags if you need to wait before checking in.

The breakfast ended up being a real family favorite. We enjoyed the Japanese dishes alongside local commuters, and there were Western choices like cereal and pastries too. The luggage lockers were easy to use, and staff were around to help with the automated check-in and checkout. Everyone we dealt with was polite and attentive, and there’s a free shuttle to the station. We chose this as a base at the end of our trip, after coming from Kyoto. Shinagawa Station is a short bus ride or walk away, and there’s also a direct, easy route to Haneda. A one-stop train ride gets you to Odaiba to see the Unicorn Gundam. The neighborhood is quiet, with a 7/11, Starbucks, and affordable local food nearby. Finding a Tokyo room for four can be tricky, but we fit comfortably in one double and two single beds. They felt roomy even by European standards. The wet-room bathroom was perfectly fine for a short visit. It’s officially a 2-star hotel, but it offers a lot for the price. For families wanting to stay near Shinagawa or Haneda, I’d recommend it, and we’d happily come back.

The room was roomier than I expected, and breakfast had a good mix of Western and Eastern options. You can pick up the amenities you need near the lobby. We stayed after arriving in Tokyo because the free shuttle to Shinagawa Station made it convenient for our trip to Osaka the next day. We had a personal issue when we arrived, and the staff were very helpful even with the language barrier. Highly recommended.
