Hotel Boujosou

The owner’s gentle manner made the stay comfortable and satisfying, and breakfast was delicious. I’d like to stay here again. The bath was spacious enough for three people to stretch their legs, and the washing area had chairs high enough to sit on comfortably. On the second floor are the men’s toilet and bath, plus one Japanese-style and one Western-style private room, and Asagao. The women’s toilet and bath are on the third floor, so leave plenty of time in the morning. There are only two electrical outlets in the room, so bringing a power strip could be useful.

The owner was polite and kind, and the food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the free homemade breakfast. The inn is Chitose Inn, right in front of the station. My room was Japanese-style with eight tatami mats, and I could relax there by myself. The toilet, sink and bath are shared, but I’d definitely stay again. Great!

I got in after 10pm, and the bath was already warm and ready for me. I was really grateful. The free breakfast was delicious too.

The breakfast was the best part for me, and it was free, homemade and prepared by the owner. It was such high quality it felt like a cafe lunch. The omelet was fluffy and creamy, the chicken nanban came with a creative tartar sauce, and the cabbage rolls had a mild mushroom sauce. Dessert was a homemade sweet potato tart, as I’d call it, with red bean cream cheese. Everything tasted great, and I was glad to get plenty of vegetables. I’d almost come back just for breakfast. I was here alone on a business trip. The room was very simple, but perfectly adequate when all you need is a place to sleep. The toilet and bathroom were shared, though very clean and comfortable to use. The tub was filled to the brim with hot water, which made for a relaxing soak. Downstairs, the reception and restaurant area had stylish decorations and music that made it feel warm and pleasant. The owner apparently runs the place alone, and he was cheerful and very helpful.
