There were lots of power outlets, and I liked the comfortable bed with its gel mattress and electrically adjustable headboard. The room also had a theater setup for projecting movies and other content onto a screen. When the screen comes down, it blocks the desk underneath, a small quirk I can live with. The carpet and bathroom floor looked worn and possibly original. The public bath was clean and well maintained, though its equipment seemed reused. It’s not a luxury hotel, so that was fine. The breakfast buffet was free as part of a promotion, and its selection and taste were about average for a business hotel. At around 10,000 yen per night for two, it’s reasonable. There seem to be more bars and restaurants across from the station, plus a Lawson and a 7-Eleven about a three-minute walk away.

The breakfast was delicious and left me very satisfied. The location is handy, under ten minutes from the station, and when I got lost the front desk staff kindly helped me find the way. But the room smelled of sweat and mold, and the walls were thin. The air conditioners and air purifiers hadn’t been cleaned, and I ended up with a sore throat. My mother has asthma, so I’d like to come back once the hotel is properly cleaned. I know the price is low, but this affected my health and needs to be addressed. They limit the number of people in the women’s large bath, though the smaller bath seems to hold only around eight people, so I’m not sure what the limit accomplishes.

I’ve stayed here several times for work and personal trips. The management group and hotel name changed this month, but I was concerned for nothing in terms of major changes. The breakfast and public bath systems seem the same. You can now get coffee as a welcome drink from the machine in the breakfast area, though I wasn’t sure about going in after the area had been cleaned. The coffee and curry tasted different to me, and I preferred them before. I stayed several nights again. On the first day, my room had an odd smell that wasn’t smoke or sewage, and air freshener didn’t quite get rid of it. The mattress was unusually thick and too soft. I could still sleep, but I asked the front desk about changing rooms just in case. They said they’d consider it, then moved me the next day and even transferred my luggage. I really appreciated that. With the renovation, some things feel different, and I hope the staff service and cleanliness stay as good as before.

There are lots of restaurants across from the station, so the location worked well. The staff were very helpful and I had a pleasant stay. My room was comfortable too, with a reclining bed, screen, and Alexa.

Breakfast came with a good range of dishes, including soba and curry as well as bread and rice. I stayed one night on Saturday, October 25th, for 8,118 yen including breakfast. The building felt a bit old, but the bed and TV area had been renovated. The TV had BS channels and could stream YouTube. There was a slight smell in the bathroom, though the large public bath made it adequate if you mainly need the bathroom for the toilet.
