The bakery downstairs sells award-winning curry buns that are well worth trying. The Washington Hotel in Kisarazu also surprised me in a good way. This business hotel chain is usually pretty ordinary, but this one felt newer, and its breakfast was excellent, including local Boso Peninsula specialties and delicious French toast. It’s conveniently placed near the station and several izakaya, with a convenience store across the street.

We chose this hotel for its wagyu dinner plan and loved the meal. The room was clean and pleasant, and breakfast was nice as well. We’d be happy to stay again.

The hotel’s right across from Kisarazu train station and the bus station, with restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so getting around was easy. The place was clean and neat, and the staff were friendly. I stayed for a week and had no complaints. Breakfast was very good. I didn’t try the other meals at the hotel because I wanted to eat at the different restaurants nearby. Highly recommended.

The room was comfortable, quiet, and well appointed, with more space than I expected for Japan. It was just what we needed after traveling from Vermont. There are a handful of local restaurants only a few minutes’ walk from the train station.

The food was fine. I have no comment about the staff.
