Ballpark Takibi Terrace Allpar

The sunrise and quiet morning view were lovely, and Escon looked beautiful glowing blue at night. The trip back wasn’t crowded either, though we did wonder about the electricity bill. We were there on a game day and got lost trying to find check-in, so there wasn’t enough time for a barbecue, which was a shame given the great facilities. The large windows were lovely, but I wish there’d been a more private spot to unpack. It’s cheaper with a bigger group, so for just my husband and me the price felt a bit high. I liked the red touches by the entrance and in the niches. The mostly black and gray interior, black tableware, and stylish appliances were functional too, even the Refa hairdryer. But the showerhead felt flimsy, and the panel on the custom sink was peeling. I worried water could get behind it and cause rot. We got ice cream as a bonus, and the game seats we could choose were so good I couldn’t contain my excitement. The water made a loud clunk every time we turned it on, and the shower never got properly hot. It was still a chilly night in Hokkaido.

We’d love to stay here again. The location and views are fantastic, especially Escon Field lit up at night and the refreshing, uncrowded mornings. We also had a barbecue looking out at Escon. We came for a baseball game during summer, though, and the big room had just one air conditioner. The loft bed was hot and stuffy. Our child insisted on sleeping up there, but the flimsy railing nearly let them fall. It worries us that someone could have an accident; bed guards or nets for rent would help. Families with small kids should be careful. We could have put our child downstairs, but they wouldn’t have it, so in the end we had to carry them down after they fell asleep.

I’d assumed you had to be staying at the hotel to use the place, but apparently cafe visitors can come too. They even said I could get just one marshmallow, so I roasted one! It was pretty windy and took a while, but I enjoyed it while looking out at the Ace Combat Field. 😊

The staff were attentive and very polite, and breakfast’s hot sandwiches were delicious. We booked one night in late October with dinner and breakfast included. It was a day without a game, so there weren’t many people around. The barbecue dinner was generous, with big pieces of meat, and left me full. We had a bonfire and relaxed watching the flames with the Ace Combat Stadium behind them. It felt like a luxurious moment. Nights get chilly this time of year, so I’d like to come back in a warmer season.
