Our room was spacious, and both the public and private Onsen were exceptional. The buffet breakfast was great, with an even better view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I couldn’t fault the place and would highly recommend this resort.

The staff were the highlight: friendly, professional, and super helpful. Check-in and check-out were smooth. The room was okay and the facilities weren’t bad. Breakfast was decent too, and the view from the restaurant was amazing.

Mr. Ryou Yokooka, the bar manager, was the most wonderful person in service we’ve ever met. He remembered details about customers, even what you had the night before, so you didn’t need to order again. It was amazing how he could remember everyone. The local traditional style is a must try, especially the dining. I think you’ll love it.

The baths were lovely, and there’s a good training room with social distancing, plus outdoor activities like tennis, putting, and even a small ski slope. The hotel seemed clean and well maintained. Reception was polite and very efficient, and proper measures had been taken to control coronavirus contagion.

I only used the onsen, and it was the worst one in all Hokkaido. It cost 1500 yen, plus another 200 yen to rent a towel. It was extremely crowded around 18:00, and the hot water had run out, so I had to shower with cold water before and after the onsen.
