Mount Akane

The view from the rooms was the highlight, and the panoramic garden can be seen completely by people walking around. I stayed on December 30th. The facilities were impeccable and my room was very clean. The bath was a little small, although it had six washing areas. Dinner and breakfast were Japanese-style, which people may have different opinions about.

The nearest convenience store is a bit far, so plan ahead if you might need one. There is a shop and vending machines on-site. The whole place is brand new and clean, and the food was satisfying in both taste and portion size.

The moon, night view, and sunrise from our room were all beautiful. It felt full of energy, almost like a power spot to me. I'd like to return every year.

The sunrise over the horizon was the best part, and it was truly moving to watch. You can see it from the hotel rooms, but since we were in the lodge, we went outside to watch. 🌅 I booked this place because it was the only lodging available for an evening attraction, and it turned out to be better than I expected. It had been renovated two years ago, so everything was clean and tidy. It's a lodge, so meals aren't included, and the bath was a little small. I had a great time and would stay again if I get the chance.
