The bathroom smelled awful and was covered in mold, with someone’s hair left in the bathtub. It looked as if nobody had cleaned it. This was the worst APA hotel I’ve stayed in. We only found out after booking that the big bath was for men only. I can’t recommend it.

The price for two people staying two nights was good. The pillows were rock hard, though the A/C worked pretty well. They provided the usual soap, shampoo, conditioner, plus razors with shaving soap and toothbrushes with toothpaste.

It’s far enough from the train station that the area is pretty quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. Handy if you’re going to see the sakura and need somewhere to put your feet up.

Fine enough for a one-night stay, and the service was very good. The building and facilities felt dated compared with the other 5 APA Hotels I’ve stayed at. The bathroom facilities, mattress, and “only male onsen” were the main drawbacks. I think APA Hotel group will take care of these points.

A really bad stay, unfortunately. The bathroom light was out, and the other bedroom plugs weren’t working either. The staff weren’t very helpful.
