The location was very convenient, and basic reception service was okay. The staff were very good at English. I wasn’t fully satisfied, especially with the breakfast buffet staff, who silently gestured for me to choose a seat without greeting me, and with the super-hard bed.

The location, service, and rooms were all very satisfying.. I stayed here for four days, and it was my second time staying at a Daiwa Roynet hotel. I was happy with my previous stay in Matsuyama, but Daiwa Roynet Kitakyushu ekimae was even better. I’d stay at Daiwa Roynet hotels again anywhere in Japan.

The room is small, but the hotel is in a good spot in the city centre, about a 5-minute walk from Kokura train station. The front desk is on Level 2.
