I only found out after staying that "Hotel AZ Kitakyushu Yahata" is right by "JR Yahata station." It’s basically just behind the station, making it easy to get around Kitakyushu city. "The Outlets Kitakyushu" is one JR stop away, at "Space World." If you have the time, go to "Sarakurayama," the city view is stunning.

The room was clean and the reception staff were very good, but the food let it down. There were hardly any choices for breakfast or dinner. It was the worst budget hotel I’ve stayed in.

The rooms are small, and there’s no Wi-Fi in them. Breakfast buffet choices are limited too.

A few rooms had somewhat unreliable Wi-Fi. Apart from that, the rooms and service were good.

Yahata Station on the Kagoshima line is easy to reach from here.
