Kurokawa Onsen Yumerindo Hanadomari

I only went to the Onsen with my wife. It’s a nice little place, and when we visited in spring 2026 it was the only one on the day pass (Onsen hopping) that included a shared men’s and women’s section. That shared area is the outdoor pool in the men’s section. There’s a separate changing room for women right beside the men’s changing room, but it isn’t the regular women’s changing room, so it can be confusing.

The room was really nice and cozy, and there’s parking. The hotel sits on a slope, which could be a bit of a hassle for some, though it wasn’t a major issue for me. Keep in mind all the restaurants close after 5 or 6 PM. It’s better to ask for half board or buy food at the convenience store before arriving, since there’s only one in the whole town.

I stayed one night at this beautiful hotel. I’d forgotten to order dinner, but they offered me a discount to join the meal, and I ended up completely full. It was quite cold there, and the onsen was cold and quiet too.

The onsen and food were great. My Japanese tatami room was spacious, quiet, and clean, but the power outlets weren’t in convenient spots. I had to unplug the water boiler behind the safe or use the outlet in the bathroom.
