It did the job for a night before an early flight. This was my first time at Toyoko Inn. The room was small, like other Japanese hotels, but clean and well run. The free curry dinner came in handy, and the free breakfast was better than I expected. Maybe that’s because I had no expectations. There was also an airport shuttle every 10 minutes, which was very convenient. Good enough.

If you're driving, I'd recommend this hotel. The room was clean and fairly spacious by Japan hotel standards, and the price was good. Breakfast was the usual Japanese style, plus free curry and rice in the evening until 9, maybe 10. I'm not sure how easy it is to get here by public transport.

There aren't any convenience stores or restaurants nearby, which is a drawback. Still, the room and service were good, and breakfast was provided. It's close to Kitakyushu Airport, with a Toyota rental car place nearby.

For around ¥5,000, this was the cheapest option I found in the area, and they included both dinner and breakfast. The place was spotless, possibly the cleanest Toyoko Inn I've stayed at.

The room faced either the airfield or the ocean, not the river, and my single was clean with enough space. The location worked well, and the airport shuttle is available, though the walk there is only about five minutes, even with bags. Breakfast choices were limited, but there was enough to keep me going until lunch. My last night of sleep in Japan.
