I especially liked the outdoor spring more than the indoor one, and the food was pretty good. The staff’s hospitality really charmed me, and the service was lovely. The room was big, clean, and comfortable. In winter, park where the sun can reach your car so the snow melts off. You can leave bags under cover near reception before parking. No outdoor shoes are allowed inside. Hotel guests have access to their own springs, while day spa visitors leave at a reasonable time.

Dinner was excellent, and the chef took time to explain each dish as it came. This place was a great find, with really helpful staff and facilities that are decent and well cared for.

The onsen is relaxing, and as usual the food is good. Their amenities aren’t great, so I’d bring your own bath items. The onsen and meal package is worth it too, you get more than 1,000 yen’s worth.

Such a lovely ryokan. They use the resort’s hot spring water to heat a greenhouse where they grow their own produce. The tomatoes are so sweet, it’s hard to believe.

We had plenty of space for our family of three, and the onsen was big. Dinner and breakfast were both good, and I left with a full stomach.
