I’m Yuji Kobayashi Kobayashi Yuji. We’re traveling this season and this is my third booking for 2021-2022. It’s my top pick whenever we go to ski or snowboard resorts. The place is clean, cozy, and comfortable, close to the resorts, and the host is really friendly and hospitable. Booking is affordable, among the cheapest.

About two weeks after I booked, I got a call saying they couldn’t provide my room because of another booking. I already had event reservations and a schedule planned, so having to start looking for somewhere to stay from scratch was awful. They offered a smaller room, but I didn’t want to travel all the way to Fukushima just to sleep somewhere cramped. I called again to turn down the offer, but nobody answered or called me back. I eventually found another place, though it was over budget, and the whole situation was extremely stressful.

The price was good, and the place itself was very clean when I stayed in winter. There was one toilet and one shower. You can hear people in the living room pretty clearly from the room if they get noisy. I know that comes with this kind of inn, and my room only had a single sliding glass door. It also seemed like the house rules weren't followed very often. If that doesn't bother you, it's a nice place to stay for the money, and I'd recommend it.

Everything felt comfortable, and the facilities were new and clean. It was my first time staying in a private home rental, and I liked the spacious bath and well-equipped kitchen. I stayed with a friend, and it was surprisingly inexpensive. The COVID precautions also made us feel safe: each room had its own assigned living room table area, cutlery, and cleaning cloths. At the time of our stay, guests had to take their rubbish with them, though bags were provided, and the bath was for showers only, with no filling the tub.
