The place was clean, but the service left a lot to be desired. When I booked online, there was no room number, so I couldn't park and didn't know what to do. There was only one bottle of water, which seems odd when the tap water in the sink is supposedly drinkable. I was still hesitant to drink it, and I can't have coffee. There weren't any welcome drinks or food and drink options for regular guests either, since those are members-only. I'd also like more bath salts. There's one foaming kind, but it gets diluted when the bath is reheated, so two would be better. There are quite a few things to improve. I hope they do, because I would still use the place again someday.

The free breakfast pizza was delicious, which made the meal I paid for even more disappointing. I went for my 3rd birthday and ordered a steak. The photo showed a fairly thick piece cooked rare, but mine was thin, burnt, and rock hard. It was listed at an original price of 1,800 yen, though my portion cost 800 yen. Even that felt expensive for what I got, and I might have complained if it had been served at the original price. Maybe they use different meat on discount days? If so, they should change the photo on those days.

I've stayed here around 10 times, and only recently used a discount coupon for the first time. Usually I come several times a month because the hotel is convenient, but this experience has left me uneasy about returning. First, my capsule delivery took three calls and over five minutes. I'd phoned the front desk to have them send my coupons through it, and a young staff member said, “I sent it to you, but...” It may have been a machine problem. About ten minutes later, an older female staff member called my room. She opened with, “You have a lot of discount coupons, don't you?” I explained that I get several when I leave after each visit, had about ten, and sent them all because I wasn't sure which to use. She replied, “No, no, you shouldn't have so many.” I said I don't always bring my coupons and point cards, so they'd piled up. Then, in a condescending tone, she said, “If you don't have a discount coupon, you're supposed to declare that, right?!” I don't understand what rule she meant, or whether anyone really tells the front desk every time they don't have a coupon. Her tone made me furious, and she kept talking at length when I wanted to end the call. My boyfriend was beside me, or I would have wanted to argue with her. Even now, thinking about it feels unpleasant. Someone should train her so she doesn't make other customers uncomfortable. From now on, I'll tell the front desk whenever I don't have a coupon.

The price is reasonable and the room itself is clean, which makes this a shame. A few months ago, I found used bedding underneath the comforter. When I called the front desk, they asked, “Shall we come and get it? Did you want the sheets changed?” I couldn't understand why they were asking that. I expected them to offer to come in, change the sheets, and clean the room. There was also some kind of white liquid left on the sofa. A cleaning staff member came, wiped it with a towel, then used that same towel on the backrest, throw, and the rest of the sofa. It looked like they were spreading the dirt around. What's going on with their cleaning management? They need to learn better cleaning techniques.
