Arimasansoh Goshobessho - Luxury Hot Spring Villa

Our room took up two floors and felt fit for a king. The service was excellent, including the morning greetings, and the shuttle made the 5 to 10 minute ride into town easy in either direction. You'll need Google Maps, and there were lots of restaurants to choose from in town. My one concern was that getting to an outdoor onsen can be difficult if you're not staying at a hotel that has one. This hotel does have an indoor onsen, and the best part was hot spring water in the bathtub in our room. I loved staying in Arima because of these hotels. I miss Isda, Inoue and Kim and their hospitality.

The place feels like a luxurious African safari lodge, with each guest in a secluded villa. Ours had a very high ceiling, a fan above, and a view of a small pond with koifish. You can mix hot spring water in your bathtub, which is a really cool feature, and there's a sauna before the bathroom. Staying here also lets you use the hot spring at their other hotel down in town. It's very classy and has both kinds of water, the golden-brown one and the colorless one.

Room was very clean and quiet, and they had everything I needed ready ahead of time. Service was the best I've had, with things prepared well for foreigners too. The food is highly recommended, though it might not suit everyone's taste. The stairs in the room could be tough for older people. I want to visit again.

A quiet place in the hills of arima onsen if you want to get away and unwind. It's a small inn with only 10 rooms, and the little villas and maisonettes are roomy and very modern. The food was amazing, with a really refined quality. I'd definitely recommend it for a chance to relax.
