The staff were friendly and spoke English, and the location was quiet, about a 10-minute walk from the station. It was also an easy walk to the bay. My room was clean and modern, with a comfortable bed and smart TV.

I paid 22000¥ for three days, Friday through Sunday, which was a plus. But I wouldn't personally recommend this place. The front desk staff were unfriendly and very cold. My room had no view, and the old hotel showed its age with dust tucked behind the scenes. I couldn't switch between AC and radiator, so it got damn hot for me as someone living in Germany, and I kept sweating.

The beds were uncomfortable, and the rooms felt old. The lobby air smelled smoky all night. Maybe someone had smoked and the cleaning hadn't been done, but the smell lingered. The shampoo bar made no sense to me. I'd only suggest staying here if you need to catch an early morning flight.

There was barely room to move, and I had to shift furniture around to make space to open my luggage. The pillow was tiny and much too soft, so I needed to get more pillows from the counter.

The rooms are typical, clean, and have what you'd need, especially if you're traveling alone. The lobby and dining area are good, so it doesn't feel like a business hotel. I did find the Wi-Fi difficult to access.
