My daughter and I had a great stay, and we’d both come back. The room had an amazing view, a nice change if you’d rather skip crowded tourist spots. The place felt spacious, which is unusual for Japanese hotels, and the surroundings were lovely. Breakfast offered lots of choices, with last orders at 9:30. The one thing we didn’t like was that you couldn’t see the sea while soaking in the hot spring. Also, for the top-floor restaurant on weekends and holidays, you need to book ahead. Haha.

It’s in a quieter part of Kobe, and I had a really nice stay. Waking up to the view of Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge, Awaji Island and Osaka Bay was wonderful.

We’ve had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and can’t relate to the negative comments. The rooms are clean and spacious, the baths and restaurants are great, and the views are lovely. For the price, it’s very good value.

The breakfast buffet had tasty food and plenty to choose from. My room’s view was amazing, and the lobby was grand, with white marble across the floors, walls, and even some of the ceiling. It reminded me of a Las Vegas hotel, with lots of open space. The room itself felt dated, though. The bed was much too firm, and there was just one small pillow per bed.

The public bath was closed, which was a downside, so after dinner I walked about 15 minutes to Taihei no Yu. The walk was fine. I stayed on a high floor and enjoyed a breathtaking view of the Akashi Bridge. The hotel is a little old but kept in good shape, and the room size was reasonable. I had the beef set dinner, which kept me busy placing meat and vegetables on the stone grill. Breakfast was buffet style and included french toast.
