Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including both local and non-local foods, and the stay was really great. The staff made me feel comfortable and looked after. Pham Ngoc Thanh Thu at the front desk was especially welcoming and always checked that we had what we needed. A big thank you to her!

I stayed for one night about two years ago and only remembered recently that I hadn’t written a review. We got in late from Osaka, but the staff were accommodating and had dinner ready when we arrived. The food was great, and I liked the room. I’ve stayed at a lot of Ryokan on trips to Japan, and I really enjoyed both Kochi and Jyoseikan. The town has a lot of charm. I’d happily recommend it.

The 8th-floor onsen was brilliant, and breakfast had lots of options and variety. I also loved the traditional Japanese look throughout the hotel and in the room. It was a wonderful stay, and I’d gladly come back.

Right in the center of Kochi, with large, beautiful rooms and a lovely Onsen. Ms. Yuko, the reception manager, was super professional and did everything she could to make us feel at home. Hope we can return in the spring :-) A perfect hotel!

Dinner in our room was sumptuous, with both great quality and generous portions. The service was also so attentive. I left my Apple Watch behind, and housekeeping found it and sent it by courier to my next destination for free. I was really impressed.
