6/10
The view of Kochi Station and the mountains around it was beautiful, and I found the breakfast restaurant spacious, clean, and really uplifting. The food was just okay, nothing fancy, but satisfactory. The hotel is right by the station, which is convenient, though a bit far from the main entertainment district. It’s a well-kept, traditional-style place, but some details feel old. Service was good.

The room had an odd smell even though I had booked a non-smoking room. The quilt was very dirty, and the shower curtain was sticky and stained red. At check-in, the hotel asks guests not to have their rooms cleaned, but they didn’t provide clean towels each day. It was very dirty, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The hotel is close to the JR station, with the shopping district within walking distance. When I visited, they couldn’t provide me with a non-smoking room.

The room was a reasonable size, though a little dirty. The location was convenient.

Getting around was very convenient, with all kinds of transportation nearby. The hotel was clean and the customer service was good.
