Breakfast was a buffet I was really looking forward to, and it didn't disappoint. If you take some rice, they'll make moray eel ochazuke for you. There were freshly made waffles and croissants from a local bakery too, and everything tasted great. The room was a bit old-fashioned but clean, and I enjoyed my stay during my trip to Shikoku. The large public bath on the top floor was another nice feature.

The room was clean and well kept, and I was happy to be on a high floor again. The bathroom and toilet were shared, but with a large public bath available, we didn't use the bath. There are no lockers inside the bath area, so valuables need to go in the elevator hall lockers. Those need a 100 yen coin, which is returned after use. We arrived at 3 pm on Saturday, the first day of our two-night, three-day Kochi trip in December 2025. It was quiet, probably because the hotel isn't on a main road. A row of cherry trees right in front should be lovely in spring. For Christmas, a Santa balloon that inflates in the wind greeted us at the entrance, along with trees and wreaths. At check-in they explained the hotel and breakfast, then we picked up our amenities and went to the room.
