The low price made it a good deal for a place to sleep, and because only two guests were there the day after the long weekend, I practically had the bath to myself. The Japanese-style room looked straight onto the mountain behind the window, which wasn't much of a view, though that didn't matter much to me. I was disappointed by breakfast: even for someone who eats very little, two small fried fish and just a few other little dishes felt skimpy. There was no seaweed or egg, either. The outlet was awkwardly placed, so I couldn't charge my phone while using it on the table, and there wasn't an extension cord.

The location is great, and the facilities are nice, though the flooring is quite worn.

It was really peaceful, with hardly anything around, and there's a supermarket nearby for a quick shop. The rooms don't have air conditioning, so if it's hot, you'd probably want to switch it on before settling in. I might find it a bit scary on my own, but with a group it feels like a fun, lively training camp. Even though I arrived an hour late, the host was waiting and didn't complain at all. I'll definitely come back.

I liked starting the day with breakfast. The staff were helpful and efficient, and the meal felt calm and pleasant. I also appreciated that it wasn't a buffet. The Japanese-style room was relaxing, especially since I don't have one at home. There were lots of shops nearby, including a Seiyu supermarket, plus a park. On my way back, I went past a museum of exotic animals. Could an 11 AM checkout have been possible?

I was in the area for a memorial service and stayed here for convenience. It's not especially modern, but it was a comfortable place to unwind, and breakfast was delicious.
