Welcome to Koriyama! This is a very affordable cabinet hotel in the city, especially suited to young visitors from overseas, though anyone can stay. One downside, sorry, but free sleepwear isn’t available, and it smells bad.

I had breakfast at an easy pace, and it was only 500 yen. The cabinet bed was comfortable, and the newer facility felt clean and reassuring to use. Even the toothpaste was made in Japan. Depending on the time, I had the bath and sauna to myself. The hair dryer was new and simple to use, and the restroom was roomy and clean.

For 3,600 yen, this felt like a great deal, and the staff were very nice. The bath was like a brand-new, clean super sento, with shampoo and other amenities supplied. My cabin-style room was clean and fine for sleeping, though it felt bigger than the private rooms at internet cafes. You can’t lock the room itself, but there are lockable lockers.
