The hot spring bath was really comfortable, with a good balance between the hot and cold water. The cold bath after the sauna was especially refreshing. I think this place is convenient if you're arriving by car. I came with my family for a memorial service, and the Japanese-Western style room had a kitchen. It seems the building may once have been weekly apartments, which could make it useful for a longer business trip. The facilities are a bit old, but for a business hotel they're perfectly adequate if you're not after luxury. The extra space was a plus. The room had air conditioning, a humidifier, an air purifier, a TV, and a kettle. Pajamas, razors, toothbrushes, and tea bags are available to get or borrow from reception, and there's a free coffee machine there too. There's a small shop selling dried goods, instant noodles, and canned beer. Supermarkets and convenience stores are within walking distance, and heading toward Bunka-dori gets you to izakayas.
