The calm rooms, peaceful Japanese garden, and historical character made this stay especially memorable. Even as foreign tourists, we felt comfortable and welcomed, thanks to the kindness and easygoing feel of the place. The owner is a knowledgeable healthcare professional certified in acupuncture, and you can request services from him. He also cares deeply about mental health and helping the community thrive, including shining a light on small local businesses. There are so many kind people here who seem genuinely happy to welcome visitors. I can't recommend the hotel and this area enough. A few places nearby that I loved: meranger for organic jams and cheesecakes, Nonoya (Nonoya) for Japanese-style grilled chicken, NEWOLD (NEWOLD) for food and coffee, Ikeda Traditional Confectioner (Ikeda Traditional Confectioner) for traditional local sweets, and Gekka (Gekka) for Japanese pottery.

The manager made us feel so welcome, greeting us with a warm smile and being consistently polite and kind. The house itself is beautiful, with thoughtful details throughout, and the lovely garden gives it a peaceful, refreshing feel. We had a wonderful stay and hope we get to return 🥰

Fresh bread was the first thing we noticed, with a bakery right behind the check-in counter. Nipponia Kosa (Kosa) sits beside a small river and combines the small Kosa with a neighborhood bonus program. It's a small, lovely hotel that feels genuinely cared for, down to the details. That whole combination feels like something from a (Miyazaki Hayao) Miyazaki Hayao movie. So lovely!

We loved our stay and will definitely come back. The guesthouse recommended places that made us fall even more in love with Kosa-cho. The breakfast was delicious and clearly prepared with care, and the service was delightful, with thoughtful details throughout. This traditional guesthouse has been meticulously restored from an old house, and it carries a rich cultural heritage and real sense of history. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! 👍👍
