The apartments are spacious and private, and check-in was easy. I found the stay comfortable overall. You can hear the trains passing right outside from inside the apartment, though, so nights aren’t especially quiet. It’s a short walk from Kumagaya station, or very close to the Chichibu Line if you’d rather not walk far.

The owner was kind and thoughtful, sharing recommendations for nearby places to eat and visit. He speaks English very fluently and knows some Chinese, too. The room was clean, with simple, warm furnishings, and I slept well on the soft bed. It’s a basic place to stay, but the care in the details made me feel relaxed and looked after. I’d come back and recommend it to friends and family. The guesthouse is in a fairly quiet area, though you can hear trains at night. They stop running after 11 PM. There’s an AEON and a convenience store nearby, which made shopping and errands easy. I had a comfortable stay and left with lovely memories.

I was in Kumagaya for work, and finding an affordable place that accepts pets can be difficult, so this was a real help. The owner was kind and put me at ease. The room was well cared for, with a spacious bedroom and a warm futon that let me rest well. I’d happily stay here again if I return to Kumagaya.

I was here on a business trip. It’s a basic apartment rental with no meals, but being able to check in and out flexibly was handy. The passing Shinkansen didn’t bother me much. Public transit is limited, especially with the Chichibu Railway running infrequently, so having a car would be better. The owner is very kind, and I’d recommend the place. (^v^)
