The front desk staff are exceptional, and nearly everything has been perfect during my week here. The rooms cool down quickly, and the laundry is inexpensive and easy: no detergent needed, just load it and press start. Washing and drying cost less than $4. The restaurant has lots of good choices and the breakfast buffet is great. Most of the restaurant staff are incredibly accommodating, though a couple of the women there weren't. You can find other places with more dining options, but they don't have the same amenities. My coworker wanted to wash his clothes here, since the hotel's laundry service seems expensive. The toilet is a toilet.

Make sure you pick the right hotel, since there's another one with a similar name. The affiliated parking lot is about a 5-minute walk away.

The hotel itself is new and the hardware is good, but a key part of the guest experience is missing. The instructions for getting the room number and card were unclear, so the stay got off to a confusing start. The laundry cycle takes an unreasonable two hours for washing and drying, and you can add more drying time. Who has 2-3 hours to spare for laundry and queuing, whether they're a tourist or on a business trip? That makes no sense.

The rooms are comfortable and the facilities are clean. It's in an area with easy access to downtown Kumamoto and Kumamoto Castle.

The location is good, and the equipment and furniture all feel very new. The TV is even a Sony, and you can watch Netflix if you have a membership.
