My son and his friends stayed here. There's lots of room and light, and the hosts are friendly. It's convenient for the train and bus stations, and many popular places in Kumamoto are walkable too. Parking is available, but the spaces are a bit tight, so you need to be pretty savvy at maneuvering.

There are plenty of toys for kids, and comics for adults too. I could do laundry and cook rice, which made it easy to stay for several nights. The room feels bigger than my apartment.

The bedroom and living room are spacious, and the kitchen made it easy to cook. The kids enjoyed the toys, and there were comic books too.

I was happy with the room's condition, its cleanliness, and the distance to the parking lot. The house is detached and has two floors with plenty of furnishings, but expect it to be somewhat cold in winter. The listing says it can take up to 10 people, but that might feel cramped. For an all-adult group, about six seems more suitable. There were bugs even though it was cold, and I got bitten while sleeping. The bite marks are still there two weeks later.

The rooms are spacious and nicely arranged, and staying here gave me a good feel for a Japanese home. It is a little far from the city center, though.
