Tom and Rimi made us feel so welcome and were incredibly kind. We spent a few days with them, and it was a wonderful stay. If you're heading to Kumejima, this is a great place to stay.

The innkeepers, Limi and Tom, are a friendly, kind couple, and the room was clean and comfortable. The shower and toilet are shared, but they’re cleaned every day. Breakfast changes daily, which was a nice touch. The balcony is roomy and a relaxing spot, and there are cats and a golden hunter dog to play with. I stayed for the Kumejima Marathon. Sorry again that my car scraped the parking sign when I checked out.

Breakfast, made with lots of island vegetables and other local ingredients, is a real highlight. I also enjoy talking with the owners, Rimi and Tom, and I’m already looking forward to returning to Kumejima. This is a guesthouse I’d happily recommend to anyone staying on the island (^-^).

It’s a little way from the town center, but the stars are so clear and beautiful, and the hilltop view over the sugarcane fields and sea is lovely. Tom and Limi are kind, and the spacious, comfortable room gave me a homestay feeling while I was on Kumejima Island. I’d love to come back.

It’s unusual to find a place to stay on Kume Island where people speak English. Tom is American and Rimi is from Kume Island, and they were so welcoming that the atmosphere felt warm and homey. The room was spotless and tidy. Rimi made breakfast herself, with different delicious options each day.
