Pe-chin Hama guest house

There were cockroaches in the bedroom. Less than ten minutes after we checked in, my partner stepped on a live one that had run out from under the bed. I messaged the host, but they didn’t respond until the next morning, after we’d already left to find somewhere else to stay. They refused our refund request, saying insects should be expected because of the location, despite our concerns about hygiene and safety. After we disagreed, they ignored us for weeks. We got no apology or resolution. I can’t recommend this accommodation because of the poor hygiene and the host’s appalling lack of communication.
