The onsen is on the top floor and has a great sea view. Visitors who aren't staying there can use it for 500 yen.

There's a shop in the lobby, and the ocean view is nice. It's close to Oita Airport, and breakfast was good.

We were able to relax here on a trip with friends. The hotel isn't luxurious, but it's quiet throughout, and the staff are polite and attentive. The observation bath has a nice view, and the food comes in generous portions for a reasonable price.

I came back for a third visit because I wanted the simmered sea bream head, and it was worth it. The sweet and spicy sauce was delicious, and the fish was prepared well, without any annoying scales. The rest of the meal included octopus shabu-shabu, cutlassfish sashimi, big shrimp tempura, rice cooked in a pot and chawanmushi. I was completely full, and it felt like good value. I'd recommend it, and I'll return when I'm in the mood for the simmered head.
