The breakfast was great and reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly, apologetic, and clearly trying hard to make things right. I felt bad for them, since most of the problems seemed beyond their control, aside from the room cleaning. The place badly needs an update and more cleaning staff. Our rooms were dusty, the carpets hadn't been vacuumed and were stained beyond recognition, and there were greasy fingerprints inside the windows. The public bath was tiny, and its used-towel bin was overflowing. The location is in a very industrial, factory area, although the view is nice if you look straight ahead. We were moved to another room, but it was just as bad, with used sanitary napkins in the bathroom. Yuck. I imagine the owner isn't putting more money or staff into the hotel, and should be embarrassed.
