The private onsens were the highlight for me. They never felt crowded, so I could unwind and use them more than once during my stay. Both meals were delicious, too. The facilities are a little old, as I knew in advance, but they were well kept and that didn't bother me. I left with a lovely impression of the ryokan and hope I can return someday.

My first ryokan stay, and I had a great time. The owner was so hospitable, and the food was top notch. There are a few in-house onsen options, and Dew was my favorite. You can open the window there and feel the winter air while soaking in the hot water. Definitely worth trying.

The onsen was relaxing, though the water was about 42 degrees. The rooms were wonderful and the food was amazing. Hideyosi san was kind and friendly, and his English was good enough for a nice conversation. The location is convenient too, just a two-minute walk from the bus station and three more minutes to the tourist area. A truly great local experience.
