A good rental for a stop on a cycling tour. It was hard to get in through the door.

We had a really satisfying holiday in this stylish vacation home near Onomichi Station. There’s one free parking space and a bike hook by the entrance, which made it handy for cycling and sightseeing. I would have liked to leave the car in the private lot before check-in, if I’m being a little picky. The house has three floors. The entrance, laundry room, and two showers are on the first floor. Upstairs on the second are two bedrooms and two toilets. The kitchen and dining area, living room, and terrace are on the third, with access from there to a rooftop terrace. Groups of five or more can share the two bedrooms and toilets on the second floor, so groups of four or fewer should keep that setup in mind. There’s a full set of cooking utensils, and it was fun to cook together and try the different places to eat nearby. You can also buy pre-ordered wine and pizza on the spot with PayPay. In the living room, there’s Jenga, several card games, and a TV with Amazon Prime Video. Bring a change of clothes and you’re set. Check-in and checkout are contactless through a tablet, which I especially recommend for a stay during the COVID-19 pandemic. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to my new villa on Awaji Island!
We stayed with three friends, and having two showers and two toilets made things really easy. The place was clean and stylish, and the location was great. Seasonings were provided, so cooking there felt just like being at home. The kitchen is on the third floor, though, so carrying groceries up the stairs was a bit of a workout. I just treated it as exercise (laughs). The parking lot was handy when we rented a car, and the salt ramen was delicious, with a really flavorful broth. They responded promptly when we ran into issues with check-in and checkout. Onomichi is somewhere I want to keep coming back to, so I’ll definitely stay here again next time. Thank you very much.
Our family of three had a great time relaxing here, and it seems like a fun place for a larger group too. There are seven beds, two shower rooms, two bathrooms and two toilets, plus a washing machine and a bicycle. Each bedroom on the second floor has a TV, and there’s a larger one in the living room. They also have card games, a ukulele, a barbecue setup on the balcony, and even a takoyaki set. (lol) It was my first visit to Onomichi and my first time renting a vacation home. I was a little nervous, but it turned out more comfortable than I expected. The location is convenient, with the station nearby, plenty of parking, and a convenience store close by. Cooking gear and tableware are provided, and you can buy drinks from the wine cellar with PayPay. Even the air freshener smells nice. One thing to remember: the neighborhood is mostly regular homes, so be careful not to get too loud on the balcony. k
The terrace-side window was lovely to open in the morning. I did yoga with the fresh sea breeze coming in, and it felt wonderful. The room was bright, stylish, and very clean, even in the bathroom. It was a comfortable stay, with organic amenities and two showers and two toilets, so I think even five or more people would be fine. We spent one night here with four people. It’s conveniently close to Onomichi Station, the shopping street, and restaurants, which makes it a good base even for a first visit. We got the information soon after booking, and check-in went smoothly. I’d like to stay here again.
