Mokomoko
The men's rock bath was the best hot spring, and I enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay to three nights while sightseeing in Kusatsu. The food felt like simple, filling home cooking, like Mom's, and the inn has a really relaxing Showa-era charm. The proprietress was incredibly friendly and has a wonderful personality. I came to Kusatsu on a whim without a booking, then spotted the Yoneyama-kan sign at a T-junction near the Yubatake. The price seemed reasonable, so I called and was able to book two nights. There’s a lot more I could say, but I’m just glad I found such a wonderful place. Thank you for taking such good care of me these three days. I’d love to visit again!
