The breakfast was very good, and coffee and juice are available for free from 4pm until midnight. The staff always smiled and made a real effort to help, even though their English wasn't great. The hotel is an easy short walk from the station, visible as soon as you come out. The rooms here are tiny for a hotel using the name "Comfort". We stayed three nights, with a break after the first. Our first room was so cramped my wife had to climb over me to get out of bed; there was barely any wardrobe space, and the suitcases got in the way. On our return we had a slightly bigger room, but it was still tight. Our friends had a room with two single beds that was much larger than either of ours. Couples might want to ask for single beds instead of a double. There aren't many restaurants close by, and the hotel only serves breakfast, so you'll need the staff's help finding somewhere farther away. This works fine for a solo traveler staying one night.

We were very thankful when our rental car seemed to lose power and couldn't leave the multi-story parking garage at checkout. The staff contacted the rental company, translated for us, and waited patiently while we sorted it out. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast generous and tasty, and the staff especially friendly and professional. The hotel is right by the train station on Chuan Road, which makes getting around easy, although the busy restaurant area is about a 10-minute walk away.

The clean, spacious room had toothbrushes and even fabric cleaner spray, which came in handy for a few of our rumpled clothes. It's also only about a five-minute walk from the JR station. For the price, the stay was comfortable, with complimentary breakfast, one free set of pajamas per guest, and other basic necessities. Check-in and checkout at the machine counter were easy. I'd book again and look into the membership rewards promotions; I saw their information pamphlets in the lobby.

Just a typical Japanese business hotel. The room is small, but acceptable for the price. Welcome drinks are a nice touch, and the location is convenient.

The breakfast had a good selection, and the staff at the breakfast restaurant were friendly. Our room was quite spacious by Japanese hotel standards, with comfortable beds, though the toilet was small. Kushiro's streets get very quiet by 9pm, and in summer the room got bright really early. We were amused watching how the hotel stacked and parked our rental car in its carpark!
