The owner was friendly, and the guesthouse was very clean and comfortable. There are cooking supplies and a washing machine, and I'd definitely recommend it. I'd stay again. A short walk one way takes you to the functioning Kushiro Lighthouse. Go the other way and there's a sightseeing lighthouse that's no longer operational, but you can climb it for ocean views. It's a great place to watch the sunset.

The owner was so kind, and the facility was excellent. It was quiet, comfortable, and very clean. I really enjoyed my stay, especially being just a short walk from a lovely ocean and sunset view.
