The staff are so friendly, and everything felt clean and nice. The kitchen is a decent size, and the bathrooms and showers were good, with a few spread over the floors. There’s a ski and snowboard shop area and laundry on site, plus a really nice restaurant connected to the hotel. The stairs are a bit narrow and steep. A convenience store is across the street, and a Hirafu mountain shuttle stop is just around the corner.

Getting around Hirafu was simple, whether we took the shuttles, buses, or trains to explore nearby areas. Our rooms were comfortable, and the shared spaces worked well for a big group. The place was easy to find, close to everything, and the staff were great. We had to adjust our travel plans, and they helped us sort that out before we arrived. They were friendly and helpful during the stay too. The location was a standout for our group: ski lifts and rental shops are within walking distance, and restaurants and bars are just off the main road, about two minutes away. It was the best located accommodation in our group. If you’re worried about getting by as an English speaker, we found it beginner traveler friendly. I’d recommend it for a trip to Hokkaido.

A cozy guesthouse with warm, friendly people. It’s close to the lifts, bars, restaurants, and supermarkets. They also have a snow sports school and restaurants, so we had lots of fun.
