North Point

It felt warm and homey, and our hosts Ellee & Dave made the place feel like a lovely family home. They kept it clean and warm, and served a really nice hot breakfast option each morning. I normally like trying somewhere different every holiday, but their hospitality has me thinking about coming back next year. Thank you, North Point. Such a lovely stay x

Elle and David made our four-night stay really comfortable. Breakfast was great each morning, and they offered a few van rides in the morning so we didn’t have to walk. The chalet was well kept. Thank you! 🙏

It had that cozy traditional cabin feel, and all the travelers around made it sociable and fun. We’re from San Francisco and spend a lot of time in Lake Tahoe, so we really liked that atmosphere. The location is great too, with bars and restaurants nearby within walking distance. The friendly on-site staff served a hot breakfast every day, and there was a daily shuttle up the mountain. Bathrooms and showers were always clean, and the heated mud room helped dry our boots and ski gear. We’d like to stay here again.

I booked a room for my daughter from 1 to 9 March 2025. She called me in tears because there were lots of insects and bugs in her room, not just one or two. I tried calling all morning to sort it out, but only reached voicemail. There was nobody at the property to help, so around 10 or 11 pm local time I had to move her to another place. I can’t imagine anyone, especially a 16-year-old, being happy to stay with bugs crawling around.
