Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono

The ski setup was a real highlight: the locker inside is roomy and handy, and being able to ski in and out made everything easier. After a full day snowboarding, heading to the onsen was unbeatable. The hotel is spotless and well cared for, and the mini bar prices are surprisingly reasonable. Staff were polite and seemed happy to be there, with phenomenal service throughout. Breakfast has a limited selection, but what’s offered is high quality and delicious. It’s a little remote, so getting to the town’s restaurants and shops means a bus or taxi, though the hotel’s free shuttle is easy to catch. We couldn’t try the restaurants onsite because most needed reservations and were fully booked by the time we tried. An absolutely amazing stay. We’ll be back.

We’ll return to China Kitchen at Park Hyatt Niseko, and we’ll ask for Jake. The food was very good, but Jake is what made the night memorable. He explained the menu confidently, noticed what we needed before we asked, and kept the service warm and polished without hovering. We travel often and eat at high-end places around the world, and he’s one of the best servers we’ve had. Great food is easy to find; service like his is rare. He’s a real asset to Park Hyatt Niseko.

The one small change we noticed was breakfast, which felt less impressive than in previous years. Otherwise, everything was excellent as usual, and Mr Adam Muhammad, the front office manager, gave us especially thoughtful care. He’s warm and professional, and made us feel very well looked after. This was our third stay at Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono, and the service keeps impressing us. We’re already looking forward to coming back next January.

Lunch at the semi buffet was a good choice, with a nice venue and plenty of options. I had the fuscile, which was a little overcooked, but the meal was great overall. I also loved the pastries at the deli and hope I can return soon. The hotel itself was a blast, with great design and facilities and staff service at the highest level. Special thanks to the bell desk manager, who found us a taxi in record time in a town where finding a cab can feel harder than spotting a unicorn.
