Central Hotel

Just a basic place for one basic night. Nothing to complain about, but it didn't really impress me.

Such an amazing hotel.

The building and its facilities feel old and a bit shabby, and getting the shower temperature right was tricky since there's no mixer tap. The front desk is up on the second floor, reached by outside stairs with no elevator, which could be hard for older guests or anyone with a stroller. Still, the service was good and I was comfortable during my stay.

The building is old, but it was clean and seemed well looked after. I stayed in room 307, facing Aeon Bike, with no view, which could suit cyclists. I was there on a cycling trip, and the first-floor parking area had a covered corner for bikes, though there's no ground lock. Apparently, expensive road bikes can be kept indoors. There are three coin laundry machines downstairs; the dryer works a little differently, so read the instructions. Apita, with a supermarket inside, is about a five-minute walk. A microwave sits by the elevator, and the room has a fridge and kettle. The walls seemed thin, so I could hear noise from every room, though maybe the people staying there were just loud. I also didn't like seeing people hanging around smoking by the entrance smoking area.
