Ogaki Hiyori Hotel - Vacation STAY 72007v

I slept really well on the comfortable bed. The room was clean, roomy, and very comfortable.

It's a bit of a trek from the station, which is a shame. The staff were really friendly, and the beds felt new, like they'd been replaced recently.

The hotel seems to be an older, somewhat nicer business hotel that's been renovated. It was spotless, and the bathrooms felt spacious for what I paid. Ogaki Station is a 15-minute walk away, though taking a taxi would wipe out the savings from the low room price. If you're driving, it's handy for Ogaki city hall and the downtown area. For a budget hotel, it was fine.

The only clear plus for me was having a convenience store nearby. It's a long way from the station, and there's no parking. The rooms have the basic amenities and are fine to sleep in, though there aren't any loungewear options. The front desk staff seemed likely to be of Chinese descent, and they spoke fluent Japanese. It gives the impression of catering to Chinese tourists. The price is reasonable if all you need is a bed, but I wouldn't suggest it to anyone looking for upscale amenities.
