I've stayed here many times, and the lovely host family is why I keep returning. The beds are comfortable, and breakfast is unusual and tasty, with lovely coffee. It's close to Kuwana station and very affordable. My favorite part is sitting in the outdoor gazebo to chat, have a drink, and enjoy a cigar.

Romain & Kayoko were attentive to what I needed and wanted, and made my stay very comfortable. The place mixes traditional Japanese tatami mats with modern furnishings, and the living areas were clean. Breakfast is included, while dinner is available for an extra charge. It felt more personal and distinctive than the usual standardized stays elsewhere.

Whenever I'm traveling through Mie or Aichi, this feels like a cozy place to stop. It's quiet, away from the big city, and right by Kuwana station, so getting there is easy. The French host is a great cook and puts on events; he and his wife run the place and do a lovely job with a simple, genuine bed and breakfast. I'd recommend staying here when visiting nearby sights like Nabano Sato. My photos are from around the area because, haha, I forgot to take any of the house itself.

We had such a lovely time with the Japanese-French hosts and can't wait to return for our next vacation. Staying here was really nice, and thanks again for the beautiful experience and fun.

The owners are friendly, the terrace is lovely, and breakfast was tasty. There's plenty of bedding, and the location is great, just a short walk from the station. I'll be back soon!
