Garden Hotel Olive

Our son and I spent time at the amusement park while my wife went shopping at the outlet mall next door, so there was something for everyone in the family. The rides had short waits, around five minutes on average. The longest line we encountered was 30 minutes for the barn yard shooting gallery ride. We stayed December 29 and 30, 2025, during the busy New Year period. Booking through the hotel website was difficult because rooms only became available 30 days ahead, and telephone reservations get priority over online bookings. We managed to book both nights through Trip.Com. The hotel has its own onsen, and guests can also use Nagashima Onsen, about a 6-7 minute walk through an indoor corridor. We really enjoyed the service and all the things to do here.

The room was spotless and well organized, and they even gave us free socks. We had a great time at the amusement park, and the buffet staff were especially friendly and stopped to chat with us. The onsens and buffet were both really good, and the service was incredibly kind. One of the best hotel stays we’ve had in Japan. Definitely want to come back. ❤️

We’ve stayed here twice and would gladly recommend it. Nagashima has lots to do, and the shuttle service between locations was excellent when requested. There’s plenty of space around the hotel grounds, and the rooms are good. Service was good too. The dinner and breakfast buffets had numerous counters, with a great spread of Japanese and Continental food.

A fun place for kids and adults. The rides are good quality, though I imagine the lines get long in peak season.
