I've come back for a second visit in a year. For the price and location, it's one of the best hotel options around Kuwana and Nagoya. With a car, Nagashima Onsen is about 10 minutes away, and you can use the hotel's public bath in the morning before a pretty good buffet breakfast. Some people might find the place a bit old, but cleanliness, order, and good service matter most to me, and it delivers on all three. The air conditioning works well and is powerful enough. Room instructions are in both English and Japanese, and parking is behind the hotel after you go through the arch. It's very foreigner friendly, and I'd highly recommend it.

I found it clean and comfortable, and I'd come back. The basics are fine for the price. Since I stayed four nights, though, I would've liked more space for hangers or drawers. The morning buffet doesn't have much variety.

The hotel is clean, and the rooms are good. The beds felt a little hard, but breakfast was good too. It's okay for a one-night stay, and there's a sauna and public bath.

It's quite an old hotel, but there are Japanese traditional touches around the place, including decorations in the elevator, bathroom, and dining room. I was especially struck by the view from the dining room. Really beautiful!
